PTI Consulting serves the sporting industry with pragmatic technological insight. We help our clients to enable business growth and efficiency through technology and people transformation.
PTI Consulting was founded by Mike Bohndiek with a vision to help organisations embrace change to realise their commercial objectives. We are currently helping 20 organisations transform how technology and process can better work for them to enhance the experience for their employees and customers.

As a primary offering PTI deliver CIO/CTO as-a-service – either on a retained or burst capacity basis. Bringing the same strategic knowledge as a FTE but coming at a fraction of the cost, this is proving to be an increasingly popular approach for clubs and venues that want to drive technological transformation without breaking the bank.
From a more conventional consultancy basis PTI has a growing team of business analysts, product managers and infrastructure specialists who can assist your club, stadium or venue in taking your next technological steps; be it match day / event day experience, in-stadia connectivity, commercial strategy enablement through technology, data protection / GDPR or an infrastructure refresh.
Meet the team
Founder & Managing Director
Mike is a technology, commercial and business change specialist with a deep knowledge of sports and stadium delivery gained across 15 years in industry, two stadium transformations and engagements / deployments into 18 stadia across the UK and Ireland.
Eric is business leader with 20 years’ successful experience integrating systems, innovations, products and personnel for continuous improvement in operations, quality and performance. He combines expert business relationship skills with specialties in sports marketing, ticketing, CRM and the applications that power a sports club and has done this hands on through his five years’ experience at AS Roma.
Dan is an experienced Information Technology Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry, most recently delivering significant elements of the Cheltenham Festival and The Grand National. Skilled in Operations Management, IT Strategy and Data Center, Dan provides significant knowledge, particularly in the delivery of pop up events.
Paul is a versatile, experienced, technology professional and a proactive and conscientious team member with highly effective communication and analytical skills. A natural problem solver, troubleshooting using a clear, pragmatic approach Paul was most recently Head of Technology at Ashton Gate Stadium before joining PTI Consulting.
Patricio has worked in some of the biggest brands in Sport, Media, Retail and Hospitality, helping them with their IT programmes, operations, development, web roll outs, grow their operations, and introduce innovation in tech. His full time role before PTI Consulting was CIO at the European Tour.
Adrian comes with extensive experience of global risk management and data protection. With specialisms in business continuity management, crisis simulations and exercising, crisis management, ISO 22301 and ISO9001 Adrian is currently working across the sporting spectrum focussed on our DPOaaS offering.
Nick joins the PTI team having spent the last two years working in digital transformation in sport, focussed on the infrastructural and backhaul impacts on stadium and venue delivery. An experienced commercial leader, he will take the reigns of the commercial strategy and be focussed on driving our value proposition to new heights.
Nathan comes to PTI Consulting having worked in marketing, technology and sporting activations making him a natural fit. Having delivering marketing plans for Ricoh UK and working on the extensive sporting properties they hold he is now driving the PTI Consulting brand and marketing strategy.
Lauren is an experienced administrator in the IT, HR and finance spaces. A keen sportswoman herself, playing County Cricket for Somerset CCC for over ten years and Indoor Cricket for England, she is an integral cog in the company wheel, providing support to the commercial business and consultants alike.
Richard brings a wealth of sporting commercial experience to the business through his roles at Manchester United, Inter Milan and West Ham United. With existing advisory roles as a guest lecturer to the International Football Business Institute and Non-Executive Director at Exercise, Move, Dance UK (EMD UK), the national governing body of group exercise in the UK, he brings a senior commercial head.
Kelly is a General Counsel with operational management and strategic expertise. Passionate about sport, specifically table tennis where she holds a Non Executive Director role with the governing body, she is currently Head of Legal and Operations at Omni-Sports where her skills are put to use in the sporting representation space.
Moe is a commercially focused and award-winning marketer, passionate about the use of digital technology in content production, storytelling, and sports marketing. Having led organisations through digital transformation, he has consistently delivered commercial value through creating insight-led and data-driven strategies. Now working for UI Centric as Digital Strategy Director, Moe previously held the post of Head of Digital Platforms at Chelsea FC.
Harriet is a well-respected recruiter who has previously worked on roles with Premier League Football clubs in the technology field. A passionate sports fan, having played youth performance tennis, she is utilising her passion for the sector and people to drive this area for PTI Consulting.
